Photographs are available as digital files or, for those photographs originally captured on film, as duplicate slides or high quality scans. In unusual circumstances an original transparency can be provided. Digital files or scans can be provided as tiff or jpeg files, sent by email, uploaded via FTP, or shipped on CD/DVD. Duplicate or original transparencies can be shipped using your preferred delivery service.


Photographs are licensed on a “per use,” or use-by-use, basis. The price will vary depending on a variety of factors, including the nature of the intended use, the size of the image (file size and as used), location, length of the license, the media in which the photo will appear, geographic distribution, circulation, and other relevant considerations.

If you are interested in licensing a photograph or group of photographs, please contact me with information that specifies the photograph(s) you wish to use and the usage rights you are seeking. This information, and any additional information provided upon further request, will be used to determine the license fee and set the terms of the authorized use. Requests for rights managed information will generally be answered within 24 hours (unless I am on travel and unavailable).
